Why?

Why is smoking and growing weed illegal? It's just a plant. I could grow and roll some cabbage and not get in trouble but if I grow and roll another very similar green plant, I'd get in trouble. It's purely natural. It came from the ground. It's green, it's eco-friendly. It's just smoke.

Same thing with cocaine. It grows naturally out of the ground. So what if I want to snort something from a plant up my nose. Is smelling the aroma from a rose any different than snorting cocaine? Back in the day they gave cocaine to kids all the time at the dentist to ease the pain. I wanna ease my pain too with some plants.

And what's the deal with opium? Hmmmm morphine.

Stoner

Every once in awhile, I need to get that extra kick that alcohol can't give. That wonderful thing is weed. Everybody has that one person you know that is your connection. Well my connection got busted and I had to go elsewhere. Now that's fucked up. That's bad customer service. I mean, I had to go to the asshole that charges more. You know, with gas prices going up I can't afford this extra expense. Yeah, maybe smoking pot is an expense that is not a necessity (to you maybe) but I need something.

Just wanted to rant. No need to worry, I'm more of an alcoholic than a pothead. Somehow saying that makes me feel like I don't have a substance abuse problem, heh, whatever. The smell of pot is pulling me in. I'll talk to you potheads later.

Fond Childhood Memories of Horror

THIS WEEK!

The Gas Man

I remember my parents were telling me a story about a trip to my grandparents house. My grandparents are really old fashion. They still have things from the 40's. So I was between 5 and 10 years old when my parents took us to see our grandparents for the weekend. When we knocked on the door, nobody came to the door but the car was still in the driveway. My dad looked through the window and saw them both just laying on the floor. My dad broke down the door and yelled at my mother to call 911. So within minutes, I see my dad cursing and my mother crying and my grandparents on the floor, what a childhood.

It was a gas leak. Who knows how long they were under but they were still moving slightly. They survived to tell the tale. My parents ended up removing all the gas appliances from the house and replacing it with electrical ones. I'm going to visit them over the weekend. Did I mention that my grandpa grows marijuana? Medicinal purposes of course. I feel a little sick too so I might need a prescription.
